EXISTING BUILDINGS: THEORY IN PRACTICE
The analysis of existing structures is the new challenge for Italian designers, due to the complexity of the subject, the specific issues that need to be addressed, and the large number of interventions involved. This requires both theory, in order to be able to correctly present the problems, and practice, in order to operate in a concrete way.
In particular, the use of software, although indispensable for the required analyses, is insufficient if one does not have a clear picture.
The aim of this webinar series is to provide a comprehensive overview, through the direct testimony of experts in the field, from the world of university research, the professional world, and software.
The meetings will be dedicated to theory, with technical regulations on existing buildings explained by university lecturers, and to practice, with real case studies told by designers.
